Description:
CBTp is a specialized form of cognitive behavioral therapy tailored for individuals experiencing psychosis. Rather than challenging the reality of these experiences, CBTp helps individuals:
• Understand and manage their symptoms
• Reduce distress and build coping strategies
• Reconnect with meaningful life goals
CBTp-informed care means applying these principles even if the provider is not delivering full CBTp therapy—making it more accessible across various care settings.
Objectives:
• Understand spectrum of psychosis experiences and CBT principles
• Learn trauma-informed approaches to early psychosis care
• Gain tools for engagement and in community CBTp interventions
• Learn strategies to mprove continuity of care between disciplines

Case managers, nurses, employment specialists, peer support, other behavioral health professionals
