This workshop is about the benefits of physical and mental activity in your recovery from SUD and mental health challenges.  We will discuss ways to get physically and mentally active.  People will learn the benefits and challenges of living an active lifestyle:  how to get started and how to connect with others.

Presenter Bios

Hunter Carey and Drew Morrow Hunter and Drew work  for The Phoenix. The Phoenix is a Sober Active Community, bringing free events and classes to people in recovery.  We enjoy our families and pets, and like to go to the gym and play basketball. Pickleball and hiking are other fun activites in addition to volunteering with the PRCC, Smart Recovery, and Long Creek Youth Development Center.
