Bio | Cathleen Dunlap, MEd, MSW, LCSW

Cathleen Dunlap is Clinical Director at Paramount Behavioral Services, Inc., a mental and behavioral health agency located in Waterville, Maine.  Prior to this, Ms. Dunlap was employed as a social worker at Togus VA Medical Center; as the director for Menswork, a certified batterer’s intervention program in central Maine; as the coordinator for the Family Violence Project’s “Supporting Women Who Stay” program; as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Maine; as an educator for Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center; as Assistant Director for Southern Kennebec Child Development Corporation; and as academic and international student advisor at the University of Maine at Augusta.  Ms. Dunlap was adjunct faculty for UMA and Kennebec Valley Community College and also provided field instruction for social work students from UMO and USM.  Ms. Dunlap was appointed to the Governor’s Domestic Violence Task Force and served in that capacity for several years.  She also was past President for the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers board of directors and served on the state and national ethics committees for that organization.  Ms. Dunlap currently sits on the board for Healthy Communities of the Capitol Area and has held seats on other local boards that focus on the mental, emotional, and physical health and wellness of central Maine citizens.

Cathleen Dunlap is the mother of three accomplished children and grandmother to four delightful grandchildren.  Ms. Dunlap lives in central Maine with her husband, Richard.  Ms. Dunlap has received training to offer MHRT-C recertification courses in six of the eight required domains and is looking forward to applying for training in Domains 5 and 7 when those trainings become available.
